The Eight State Priorities
Tools, promising practices, and research posted on the Quality Schooling Framework (QSF) web site to assist LEAs in addressing the state priorities in their Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).
What is the LCAP?
As part of the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), Each District and Charter School in the State of California is required to develop and annually update the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). The LCAP provides new ways for parents, students, and staff to engage in the school’s decision-making process. Charter schools and districts are required to involve parents, educators, employees, and the community as they create these plans and outline the school’s goals.
The California Department of Education requires that the school’s LCAP plan address each of the eight areas identified as state priorities areas. In addition, the LCAP outlines how the school’s budget will help the school achieve its goals, as well as how the school will monitor its progress towards reaching their goals.
We want your feedback.
A large component of LCAP is feedback from stakeholders. If you have feedback or questions please email info@redwoodmontessori.org.
