Ultimate Frisbee Club

Alternates between Laurel Tree and RCM
Ultimate frisbee is a fast-paced game played with a flat disc that combines some of the strategies of soccer and football. Unlike many sports, however, Ultimate is self-officiated, meaning that players make decisions about fouls without turning to a referee for a ruling. It is also played as a co-ed sport at the highest level of competition, so girls and boys are accustomed to playing respectfully as equals. And Ultimate is SO MUCH FUN!
Hart at RCM High School and Homer at Laurel Tree Charter School are teaming up for afterschool ultimate club. As coaches, they will teach 6th – 12th grade players the basics of throwing and cutting with an emphasis on Spirit of the Game. Players of all ability levels are welcome! Our meetups will rotate between Laurel Tree and RCM High School. Homer is hosting our first ultimate experience at Laurel Tree this Wednesday! Contact Hart with questions.
